Jose is a screenwriter and essayist, specializing in comedy and gay shit.

He has bylines in Teen Vogue, Playbill, GLAAD, AwfMag, MixedMag, POPSTARBITCHZINE, and more.

His pilot 30 DAYS IN BAYSIDE is currently in development with Elliott Page’s Page Boy Productions. 30 DAYS IN BAYSIDE was also featured on the 2022 GLAAD LIST, a selection of Hollywood’s most promising unmade LGBTQ-inclusive scripts. The GLAAD LIST is presented in partnership with the Black List, and a team of production companies, studios, and streaming services including Ryan Murphy Productions, Hello Sunshine, Greg Berlanti Productions, Orion Pictures, Hillman Grad, Netflix, and more.

Before 30 DAYS IN BAYSIDE, Jose wrote, starred in, and associate produced a webseries pilot SLUT, which was featured at the Official Latino Film Festival, Baltimore Next Media Web Fest, Web Series Festival Global and the Chicago Pride Film Festival.
